Each practical carries 20 marks.
Students must pass the practical exam to qualify overall.

The Bihar Board has issued several important guidelines for all candidates appearing in the 2026 Matric exams:
Each paper will be of 3 hours duration.
Students will get 15 extra minutes to read the question paper before writing begins.
No writing is allowed during the reading period.
Arrive at the exam center at least 30 minutes early.
Bring your Admit Card and School ID Card.
Personal items such as mobile phones, books, and bags are strictly prohibited.
Visually impaired or differently-abled students will get 20 extra minutes per hour to complete the exam.
